The price includes tea, coffee, fresh fruits, two warm meals on Saturday as well as facilitation, all program points & supplies.

As always, we need your support with setup & cleanup, info desk & emotional support, cooking, as well as workshop support. You can decide between doing 1 or 2 volunteering shifts at the event (3 hours each, except setup&cleanup).

The Parallel Universe is a s+ and body+ space to dream and explore. It invites you to slowly merge into your desires, dreams and longings. The Parallel Universe is a co-created, immersive, consent-based community experience that exists since 2017.

In order to create an intimate and safer space we want to know or get to know everyone who is attending the parallel universe. Due to limited capacities we can not invite everyone who applies.
Sober Into The Unknown – The Parallel Universe is a sober event – we ask you to abstain from any mind-altering substances such as drugs or alcohol. It is important to create a safer space to explore desires, dreams and boundaries with a clear mind. Let’s get high on our body’s endorphins!
For who? We are a queer association that’s also hetero-friendly – meaning straight folks are welcome, as long as they’re kind and supportive allies*. We especially welcome queer folks of all genders and identities, and we put extra care into making our spaces as accessible and cozy as possible, especially for those who experience marginalization in multiple ways.

For who? We aim to be a hetero-friendly space (meaning we are a queer event). We prioritize the needs of marginalized people when we create safer spaces.
We are open to people of all s*xes & genders, orientations & backgrounds, living in any form of relationship and any form of physical feature – let’s celebrate the diversity of our community! We will wear name+pronoun tags and use gender neutral language.
Covid Protocol: There will be no testing but please stay home if you feel sick.
Accessibility: The Salettl is not fully wheelchair accessible – especially the toilets in the location are too narrow. Please contact us for exact dimensions.

This event is organized by the Loslassen Association.
Janina Vivianne (she/her) is the visionary behind “The Parallel Universe – An Adult Playground”, which began in 2017 as a small gathering and has since grown into a multi-day immersive experience.
As part of the creative lead, she helps shape the festival’s vision, curates its diverse program of workshops, performances and contributes to social media.
She also takes care of logistics: from coordinating food and décor to arranging the equipment and room setups that create a cozy and inspiring atmosphere.
During the festival, you’ll often find her facilitating workshops, guiding participants into deeper connection and embodied play.
Beyond the festival, Janina facilitates monthly workshops in Vienna for the Loslassen Association, focusing on intimacy, consent, and self-love – creating opportunities for community members to connect, explore, and grow together.
She is an intimacy coach, counselor, and certified Sexological Bodyworker, who supports people in embracing their sexuality, building self-acceptance, and exploring connection through a sex- & body-positive, and trauma-aware lens.
She offers affordable one-on-one sessions in Vienna and online for individuals and couples, who want to explore topics like non-monogamy, intimacy, and safer sex practices.
As a certified systemic coach, Ren offers a safe and supportive space for creative and queer people to deal with topics such as decision-making, self-organization, and setting boundaries.
Their workshop “Draw your genitals” questions societal beauty standards and taboos surrounding genitals and empowers participants to develop self-determined perspectives beyond patriarchal attributions.
Ren was an active part of “Claim the Space”, an Austrian alliance against femicides, and wrote their Master’s thesis on the politicization of femicides in Turkey. Currently, they’re working on a book about surviving sexualized violence.
Lian Quintana-Abraham (they/she) is a Vienna-based physiotherapist, yoga teacher trainer, and pleasure activist with a master’s in Peace and Conflict Transformation. Grounded in both anatomical insight and the ability to analyse real-life situations with a critical but caring lens, they guide individuals toward feeling peaceful, strong, embodied, and pleasurable in their bodies.
At the Parallel Universe, they are responsible for screening all registrations, facilitating workshops and guiding through the program.
Lian facilitates workshops on nervous system regulation, sexuality, pain processing, and healing – weaving movement, anatomy, and embodied peace education into transformative experiences.
Lian is a co-founder of Golden Ape Studio, a community space for yoga, movement, and bodywork; they are an active member of Mädchen-/and Bubenbeirat, a foundation supporting youth-led initiatives for gender justice.
Their activism also extends to various LGBTQAI+ projects, fostering inclusive spaces that celebrate diversity, consent, and FLINTA Empowerment. She has been co-organizing sex-positive events and facilitating
workshops since 2018.
Må (he/it) is a Vienna-based communication and embodiment trainer dedicated to exploring the intersections of art, personal growth, and social change.
With a background as a music and movement educator, he guides individuals and groups to connect more deeply with themselves and others. His work is rooted in the belief that conscious embodiment and authentic communication are foundational to creating safer, more vibrant communities.
At the Parallel Universe, Marek is mainly responsible for the logistics of sound and light, the DJs, facilitating workshops as well as moderating and guiding through the program.
Mareks offerings include peace, sustainability, and democracy education, as well as violence prevention.
He holds a Master’s in Peace and Conflict Studies, where he explored how embodied practices can foster dialogue and empower us to transform conflict into opportunities for connection.
His approach is trauma-informed and centered on creating spaces of courage and play, inviting us to shed societal norms and embrace our full, authentic selves.
He is passionate about fostering consent, care, and co-creation in all his endeavors.
Valerie (she/her) is a social worker, sex educator, parent of 2, queer and non-monogamous. She is compassionate about topics like feminism, intersectionality, gender, racism, politics, parenting,… and tries to live her life with kindness and respect.
Being sex-positive as a parent, Valerie works on strategies on how to incorporate sex-positivity in the upbringing of her kids, while empowering them to be themselves and keeping them safe.
Sex-positive parenting, for Valerie, also means integrating different – sometimes contrasting – parts of herself in her life, ideally with few sacrifices.
In her free time she creates ex-educational content, like a pub quiz with questions around sex-education, body knowledge and LGBTIQA* or reads a book 🙂
